CAUSED BY GRAM NEGATIVE AND GRAM POSITIVE BACTERIA
AT THAI NGUYEN NATIONAL HOSPITAL (2020 - 2023)
Summary
Objectives:
Compare some epidemiology, clinical and subclinical characteristics of patients with sepsis
caused by gram negative (GN) and gram positive (GP) bacteria.
Subject and methods:
Retrospective study on 156 patients diagnosed with sepsis according to the
standard of the Ministry of Health in 2015.
Results and conclusions:
GN bacteria is the cause of sepsis with the highest proportion 121 (77.6%);
GP bacteria accounts for less than 35 (22.4%). The most common GN bacteria is
