E15LV as the designed critical influential factors on the drug release were evaluated after 2, 4, 8 and 10 hours. The release

rate of LNX from the optimally formulated dual-released lornoxicam tablets (12 mg) containing Methocel K4M - 13.26 mg

and Methocel E15LV - 14.90 mg, calcium carbonate - 10.88 mg well met the predetermined requirements: 35.32%; 60.98%;

90.47% and 97.07% after 2 hrs, 4 hrs, 8 hrs and 10 hrs, respectively.
