Background: Cardiovascular disease is a leading cause of death in the world. In Vietnam, cardiovascular disease is rapidly increasing. Coronary artery disease is one of three cardiovascular disease, knowledge and practice about coronary artery disease of patient have the importance with health and caring them. Objectives: Describe knowledge, practice among patients with coronary artery disease at Thai Nguyen; Identify related factors to knowledge, practice among patients with coronary artery disease at Thai Nguyen. Materials and Methods: Patient with Coronary Artery Disease treated at Cardiovascular department, Thai Nguyen National Hospital. Research methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study research about knowledge, practice and related factors among patients with coronary artery disease at Thai Nguyen. Results: Almost knowledge and practice about coronary artery disease of subjects was average level, accounted for 61.3% and 58.5%, respectively. There were a significant difference in knowledge, practice about coronary artery disease between male and female group (p < 0,001 and p<0,05); between under 50 years and over 50 years old group; between different information resource (p < 0,05), notice people (p <0,001) and people living with (p < 0,05). Conclusion: Knowledge and practice about coronary artery disease of subjects was average level.
