Psoriasis is a common chronic, immune-mediated inflammatory disease

in Vietnam and worldwide. It causes lesions affecting the skin, nails,

joints, and certain internal organs, adversely impacting patients' quality

of life; notably, there is currently no specific curative treatment.

Furthermore, psoriasis is associated with increased morbidity and

mortality related to cardiovascular events, metabolic syndrome,

metabolic disorders, and dyslipidemia. We conducted this study to

investigate the potential causal relationship between psoriasis and

metabolic disorders, as well as to gain a deeper understanding of the

clinical and paraclinical characteristics of the disease. A cross-sectional

study was performed on 114 psoriasis patients undergoing treatment at

Thai Nguyen National Hospital between June 2025 and June 2026. The

results revealed a metabolic disorder prevalence of 77.19% (88
