Results of diagnostic test for vaginitis using dyeing technique in pregnant women at Thai Nguyen A Hospital

Abstract:
Inflammation of the reproductive
tract below is one of the common gynecological diseases in women, especially
during pregnancy. If not are well-well-out-early and controlled in time can
lead to dire consequences. Objectives: To describe clinical and subclinical
characteristics of vaginitis in pregnant women at A Thai Nguyen Hospital from
August 2020 to May 2021. Subjects and research methods: To give state about rate
of microorganisms causing vaginitis and the agreement between diagnostic test
results and clinical diagnosis of vaginitis in pregnant women at Thai Nguyen A
Hospital. Results:
The incidence of the lower genital tract was 41.0%, the causes include Candida
albicans (36.5%), Gardnerella vaginalis (5%), and Trichomonas
Vaginalis (0.5%). The agreement between clinical
diagnosis and laboratory diagnosis is low and very low. A combination of
clinical and laboratory tests is needed to diagnose the cause of vaginitis.
