The training Program for Specialist Doctor level II in Pediatrics aims to train for well qualified pediatricians. This program is for the physicians who had a Degree of Specialist Doctor level I in Pediatrics or Master degree of Pediatrics (36 months since their graduation) and a certificate of pediatric practice. Each year, 5 to 15 doctors are admitted for this major based on the results of the university's entrance exam.
The training program for Specialist Doctor level II in Pediatrics is the next level of study of the program for Specialist Doctor level 1 in Pediatrics or Pediatrics Residency program or Master program of Pediatrics. The program prepares learners to become a medical specialist who have specialized knowledge, proficient professional practical skills in Pediatrics, research capacity, and flexible adaptability to the growth of medical science and technology. They are also able to identify and manage health problems and diseases, especially among children in the northern mountainous region. After completing the 2-year training program, learners will be awarded the degree of specialist doctor level II in pediatrics.
