COURSE NAME: UPDATES ON THE KNOWLEDGE OF CLINICAL PHARMACOLOGY FOR HEALTH WORKERS AT HEALTH FACILITIES

Objectives

Knowledge:

• Apply regulations and guidance of ministries and management departments on clinical pharmacy implementation, monitor of drug use and ADR as well as drug information at hospitals.

• Apply knowledge of clinical pharmacy to counsel rational, safe and effective use of drugs for patients with diabetes and hypertension at hospitals.

Skills:

• Collect data on the actual situation of clinical pharmacy implementation at the places where the trainees are working.

• Evaluate the actual situation of clinical pharmacy implementation at the places where the trainees are working.

• Design a number of standard procedures used in clinical pharmacy implementation at the places where the trainees are working

• Counsel on drug regimen, ADR and drug interactions for health workers and patients when using antidiabetic drugs & hypertensive drugs.
